The benefits of comprehensive media literacy education extend far beyond the classroom. Studies demonstrate a positive impact on students’ mental well-being, reducing anxiety and promoting emotional regulation. Empowered by the ability to critically evaluate information, students report increased trust in reliable news sources and institutions, leading to greater civic engagement and participation in democratic processes.
