The Centre has issued urgent directives to both government officials and political representatives, mandating an aggressive promotional campaign for India’s E20 ethanol-blended fuel policy. This move arrives as the government faces mounting public complaints and opposition scrutiny regarding the nationwide rollout of the fuel.

To amplify this reach, ministries have been instructed to leverage social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Officials are encouraged to adopt creative formats, such as short videos and memes, to ensure the policy’s benefits resonate with a broader audience, particularly younger demographics.

Simultaneously, the administration is prioritizing a rapid response mechanism to address concerns. Kumar has ordered the formation of Quick Response Teams (QRTs) on an immediate basis, ensuring that personnel are equipped to manage incoming queries and feedback efficiently.

These QRT members are slated to undergo intensive training within a one-week timeframe. The directive emphasizes the importance of a strict two-hour response window, ensuring that all public engagement remains timely and professional.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has pledged full support to other government departments, offering assistance in content creation and strategic distribution. This collaborative effort is designed to present a unified narrative regarding the E20 fuel transition.

Ultimately, the administration aims to counteract negative sentiment through massive digital outreach. By mobilizing party workers and officials, the Centre hopes to drive public acceptance of the policy while maintaining a responsive and alert administrative infrastructure.
