Bobcat Company Launches Social Media Campaign to Support Local Parks During Park and Recreation Month

West Fargo, ND – Bobcat Company, a global leader in construction and landscaping equipment, is launching a social media campaign throughout July to support the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and celebrate Park and Recreation Month. The campaign, titled #WorkWorthDoing, encourages individuals to share photos of Bobcat equipment in action, contributing to a donation of up to $150,000 to NRPA for environmental preservation efforts.

The #WorkWorthDoing campaign reinforces Bobcat’s commitment to community development and environmental sustainability. By leveraging social media, Bobcat aims to generate widespread awareness of the importance of parks and recreation areas while providing valuable financial support to the NRPA. This initiative aligns with Bobcat’s broader mission of empowering individuals and communities to achieve more.

The campaign mechanics are simple: Participants share photos on social media showcasing Bobcat equipment performing meaningful work, tagging @BobcatCompany and using the hashtag #WorkWorthDoing. For each photo shared between July 1st and 31st, Bobcat will donate $10 to NRPA, capping the total contribution at $150,000. This approach encourages public engagement while directly linking social media activity to a tangible positive impact on local parks.

Bobcat’s partnership with NRPA reflects the company’s recognition of the vital role parks and recreation spaces play in fostering vibrant communities. These spaces provide opportunities for individuals and families to connect, engage in physical activity, and improve their overall well-being. Bobcat’s equipment is commonly used in the maintenance and development of these areas, highlighting the direct connection between their products and the positive impact on communities.

This year’s Park and Recreation Month theme, "Build Together, Play Together," underscores the collaborative effort required to create and maintain thriving park spaces. The month-long celebration, now in its 40th year, recognizes the dedication of park and recreation professionals and the positive impact of their programs. NRPA emphasizes the vital role these professionals play in strengthening communities and building resilience for the future.

The #WorkWorthDoing campaign extends beyond July, representing Bobcat’s ongoing commitment to supporting communities and recognizing individuals making a difference. The company’s corporate social responsibility efforts are further highlighted through its website and social media channels, providing additional avenues for engagement and information. Bobcat aims to create a lasting impact by investing in initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, community development, and the overall well-being of individuals and families. The partnership with NRPA serves as a tangible example of Bobcat’s dedication to these values.
