In Nigeria, this concern has prompted key policymakers and stakeholders to advocate for a comprehensive framework to address the challenges of election disinformation, particularly during subnational elections. This call to action arose from a National Dialogue on Election Disinformation organized by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) in Abuja, with support from the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
