Gambia Launches Campaign Against Misinformation and Disinformation
Kerewan, North Bank Region – In a concerted effort to combat the spread of misinformation and disinformation, the Gambian Ministry of Information, Media, and Broadcasting, in collaboration with WAVE Gambia, recently conducted a sensitization campaign in Kerewan, North Bank Region. The event, held at the Governor’s Office, brought together government officials, community leaders, journalists, and residents to discuss the dangers posed by false information and explore strategies to counter its negative impact on society.
