Pakistan, facing global outrage, launched a sophisticated disinformation campaign aimed at deflecting blame, distorting the truth, and undermining India’s counterterrorism efforts. This campaign, characterized by a rapid dissemination of false narratives across platforms like X (formerly Twitter), showcased the weaponization of social media in modern warfare.
