Indian Parliamentary Delegation’s Visit to Egypt Counters Misinformation and Strengthens Bilateral Ties

Cairo, Egypt – A multi-party delegation of Indian parliamentarians, led by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule, recently concluded a significant visit to Egypt. The delegation’s primary objective was to counter misinformation spread by Pakistan regarding India’s handling of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and to reinforce international understanding of India’s commitment to combating cross-border terrorism. Indian Ambassador to Egypt, Suresh K Reddy, emphasized the crucial role of the visit in conveying accurate information amidst the proliferation of misinformation on social media platforms. He highlighted the visit’s importance in enabling other nations to pose informed questions to Pakistan about its involvement in terrorism.
