Google Rejects EU Disinformation Code, Sparking Debate Over Online Fact-Checking

In a move echoing Meta’s recent decision, Google has informed the European Union of its refusal to adhere to the Code of Practice on Disinformation, a voluntary set of guidelines aimed at combating the spread of false information online.
