India Blocks Chinese State-Run Media Outlet Global Times Over Disinformation Campaign
India has taken decisive action against the Chinese state-run media outlet, Global Times, blocking its access within the country due to its persistent dissemination of propaganda and disinformation, particularly concerning India’s Operation Sindoor. The move follows a series of misleading reports published by the outlet, which included the use of outdated imagery to falsely depict Indian military losses during the operation targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK).
